  1. Provide exceptional pharmaceutical care to patients by reviewing and assessing medication orders, ensuring proper dosing, and monitoring for potential drug interactions or adverse reactions.
  2. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans for patients and ensure the safe and effective use of medication.
  3. Serve as a drug information resource to healthcare providers and patients, providing accurate and up-to-date information on medications, their uses, and potential side effects.
  4. Conduct medication reconciliation and patient education to promote medication adherence and optimize patient outcomes.
  5. Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and committees to discuss patient cases and make recommendations for medication therapy.
  6. Utilize electronic health records and other technology to document and track patient information and medication use.
  7. Stay current with new drugs and treatment guidelines, and make recommendations for formulary additions and changes.
  8. Comply with all legal and regulatory requirements, including maintaining proper records and adhering to pharmacy policies and procedures.
  9. Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure accurate and timely dispensing of medications and compliance with controlled substance regulations.
  10. Maintain a professional and compassionate attitude towards patients and colleagues, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.

Job Qualifications
  • Doctor Of Pharmacy (Pharmd) Degree From An Accredited Institution.

  • Active Pharmacist License In The State Of Missouri.

  • Board Certification In A Clinical Specialty Area, Such As Ambulatory Care Or Pharmacotherapy.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Pharmacy Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare System.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Other Healthcare Professionals And Educate Patients On Medication Management.
