1. Provide compassionate and exceptional patient care in accordance with BJC HealthCare's standards and policies.
2. Assess and monitor patients' mental health status, including behaviors, symptoms, and responses to treatment.
3. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
4. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and monitor their effectiveness.
5. Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies.
6. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
7. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
8. Utilize evidence-based practices and stay updated on current developments in mental health care.
9. Respond to emergencies and crisis situations, providing appropriate interventions and support.
10. Serve as a patient advocate, ensuring their rights are respected and their needs are met.
11. Build and maintain relationships with patients, their families, and caregivers to establish a trusting and caring environment.
12. Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
