  1. Provide high-quality care to patients receiving infusion treatments
  2. Utilize expertise and knowledge to improve patient outcomes
  3. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  4. Monitor and assess patient response to infusion therapy and adjust treatment as needed
  5. Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols
  6. Educate patients and their families on infusion therapy, potential side effects, and self-care techniques
  7. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care and treatment plans
  8. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to ensure patient and staff safety
  9. Stay current with new developments and advancements in infusion therapy and incorporate into practice
  10. Collaborate with pharmacy and other departments to ensure timely and accurate preparation and delivery of medications
  11. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to facilitate optimal care and treatment outcomes
  12. Advocate for patients and provide emotional support during the infusion therapy process
  13. Participate in departmental and organizational meetings, trainings, and continuing education opportunities
  14. Adhere to BJC HealthCare's policies, procedures, and ethical standards
  15. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) From An Accredited Institution.

  • Active And Unrestricted Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Missouri.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Infusion Therapy, Preferably In A Clinical Or Hospital Setting.

  • Certification In Infusion Therapy, Such As Crni, Ins, Or Ocn.

  • Strong Communication And Critical Thinking Skills, With The Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Multidisciplinary Team.
