  1. Conduct apheresis procedures according to established protocols and guidelines.
  2. Monitor patients' vital signs and assess their overall condition before, during, and after apheresis treatment.
  3. Administer medications and fluids as prescribed by physicians.
  4. Ensure the safety and comfort of patients throughout the apheresis process.
  5. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including documenting any adverse reactions or complications.
  6. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare team members to provide education and support regarding apheresis procedures.
  7. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans for patients.

  13. Provide support and guidance to new or less experienced staff members.
  14. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
  15. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of patient care.

Job Qualifications
  • Current Rn License In The State Of Missouri

  • Bachelor Of Science In Nursing (Bsn) Degree From An Accredited Institution

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working As A Registered Nurse In A Clinical Setting

  • Experience And Certification In Apheresis Procedures, Such As Red Blood Cell Exchange, Platelet Depletion, And Leukocyte Depletion

  • Strong Critical Thinking Skills And Ability To Work Independently, As Well As Part Of A Team.
