Job Description

At BJC HealthCare, we are looking for a Clinical Education Specialist to join our team and take our clinical education program to the next level. We are seeking a passionate individual who is dedicated to providing the best possible education and training to our healthcare providers. The successful candidate will be a well-rounded professional with an in-depth knowledge of clinical education, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to think critically and solve complex problems.The Clinical Education Specialist will be responsible for developing, planning, and implementing education and training programs for healthcare providers. They will also be responsible for assessing educational needs, researching and evaluating new educational opportunities, and researching and analyzing best practices in the field. The successful candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as education, healthcare, or nursing, as well as prior experience in a similar position. They should have a strong understanding of current trends in clinical education and the ability to effectively collaborate with other healthcare professionals. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, plan, and implement educational and training programs for healthcare providers.
  2. Assess educational needs and research and evaluate new educational opportunities.
  3. Research and analyze best practices in the field of clinical education.
  4. Utilize knowledge of current trends in clinical education to inform decisions.
  5. Effectively collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
  6. Provide high quality educational resources.
  7. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of existing educational programs.
  8. Maintain accurate records of educational activities.
  9. Prepare and present reports on educational outcomes.
