Job Description

At BJC HealthCare, we are seeking a dedicated and service-oriented Clinical Dietitian to provide nutrition care and counseling to our patients. As a dietitian, you will be responsible for creating individualized meal plans based on patient needs and dietary restrictions. You will also provide education and resources to ensure that patients understand nutrition and make healthy food choices.The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in nutrition or dietetics from an accredited university and be a Registered Dietitian (RD). Furthermore, they will have experience working in a clinical setting, and possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. We are looking for someone who is committed to providing excellent service to our patients and is passionate about helping them achieve their nutrition goals. Responsibilities: • Create individualized meal plans based on patient needs and dietary restrictions. • Educate patients about nutrition and provide resources to ensure they make healthy food choices. • Monitor patient progress and adjust meal plans as necessary. • Maintain accurate records of patient nutritional care and progress. • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure patients receive comprehensive care. • Provide one-on-one counseling to patients and their families. • Stay up to date on nutrition trends and research. • Develop and lead nutrition-related classes and seminars. • Participate in professional development activities to advance nutrition knowledge.
