Bachelor's Degree In Nutrition Or Related Field: A Clinical Dietitian At Bjc Healthcare Should Possess A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Nutrition, Dietetics, Or A Closely Related Field From An Accredited University.
Registered Dietitian (Rd) Credential: The Candidate Must Have A Valid And Current Registration As A Registered Dietitian With The Commission On Dietetic Registration (Cdr). This Certification Ensures That The Candidate Has Met The Rigorous Education And Training Requirements Necessary To Practice As A Clinical Dietitian.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Clinical Experience: Bjc Healthcare Requires Candidates To Have A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working As A Clinical Dietitian In A Healthcare Setting. This Experience Should Include Conducting Nutrition Assessments, Developing And Implementing Individualized Nutrition Care Plans, And Providing Medical Nutrition Therapy For A Diverse Patient Population.
Knowledge Of Medical Nutrition Therapy: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Medical Nutrition Therapy And Its Application In Various Disease States.
