- Implement and optimize clinical applications to improve efficiency, accuracy, and quality of patient care.
- Train and educate healthcare professionals on the use of clinical applications and provide ongoing support to ensure optimal utilization.
- Conduct regular assessments of clinical applications and recommend updates or improvements as needed.
- Stay up-to-date on industry advancements and trends in clinical applications to ensure BJC HealthCare remains at the forefront of technology in healthcare.
- Work closely with IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to clinical applications.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including user guides and training materials, for clinical applications.
- Serve as a liaison between healthcare professionals and software vendors to facilitate communication and resolve any issues or concerns.
- Assist in the planning and implementation of new clinical applications and upgrades.
- Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism when interacting with healthcare professionals and other team members.
Relevant Education And Training: A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In A Healthcare-Related Field, Such As Nursing, Radiology, Or Healthcare Informatics. Additional Certifications In Clinical Applications And/Or Project Management Are Preferred.
Experience In Healthcare Technology: Previous Experience Working With Clinical Applications And Electronic Medical Records In A Healthcare Setting Is Required. This Includes Knowledge Of Different Systems And Their Capabilities, As Well As Experience With Troubleshooting And Training End Users.
Strong Communication Skills: The Ability To Effectively Communicate With A Diverse Range Of Stakeholders, Including Physicians, Nurses, And Other Healthcare Professionals, Is Crucial In This Role. The Clinical Applications Specialist Must Be Able To Explain Technical Information In A Clear And Understandable Manner.
Project Management Skills: Bjc Healthcare Values Candidates Who Have Experience Managing Projects And Implementing New Systems.
