  1. Perform MRI scans and procedures in accordance with established protocols and safety procedures.
  2. Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information and scan results.
  3. Operate and maintain MRI equipment, troubleshooting any technical issues that may arise.
  4. Ensure patient comfort and safety during scans, addressing any concerns or questions.
  5. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to accurately interpret and analyze scan results.
  6. Train and mentor new MRI technologists, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  7. Oversee the scheduling and coordination of MRI procedures to ensure efficient and timely patient care.
  8. Monitor and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment, coordinating with appropriate departments for restocking and maintenance.
  9. Adhere to all hospital and department policies and procedures, including safety and infection control protocols.
  10. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and assist in developing and implementing best practices for the MRI department.
  11. Stay updated on industry advancements and changes, incorporating new techniques and technologies into daily practice.
  12. Provide exceptional customer service and patient care, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
  13. Collaborate with other healthcare team members to promote a positive and collaborative work environment.
  14. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
  15. Act as a role model for professionalism, excellence, and dedication to patient care.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Radiologic Technology Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience As An Mri Technologist, With At Least 2 Years In A Supervisory Or Leadership Role.

  • Certified By The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt) In Mri.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Mri Equipment And Procedures, As Well As Safety Protocols And Regulations.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Lead And Mentor A Team Of Mri Technologists.
