- Accurately post payments and adjustments to patient accounts in a timely manner.
- Ensure all payments are allocated to the correct patient accounts and applied correctly.
- Verify and reconcile payment information to ensure accuracy.
- Communicate with patients, insurance companies, and other departments to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to cash posting.
- Maintain organized and detailed records of all cash posting activities.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment to meet daily deadlines.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as relevant healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to identify and implement process improvements for more efficient cash posting.

Experience With Medical Billing And Payment Posting: A Cash Posting Representative At Bjc Healthcare Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Similar Role, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting. This Experience Should Include Knowledge Of Medical Billing Processes And Payment Posting Procedures.
Strong Attention To Detail: Cash Posting Representatives Are Responsible For Accurately Recording And Reconciling Payments Received From Various Sources. Therefore, This Role Requires A High Level Of Attention To Detail And The Ability To Identify And Correct Any Discrepancies In Payment Information.
Proficiency In Relevant Software And Systems: Bjc Healthcare Uses Various Billing And Payment Processing Software, Such As Epic And Meditech. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Prior Experience And Proficiency In Using These Systems, As Well As A Strong Aptitude For Learning New Software.
Knowledge Of Healthcare Regulations And Compliance: Cash Posting Representatives Must Adhere To Strict Healthcare Regulations And Compliance Guidelines When Handling Sensitive Payment Information.
