Billing Specialist

BJC HealthCare is seeking an experienced and skilled Billing Specialist to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities:

1. Ensure accurate and timely billing and collections of patient accounts.
2. Ensure compliance with all applicable billing and coding regulations.
3. Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
4. Communicate effectively with patients regarding billing and collections.
5. Review and resolve denial requests with payers.
6. Monitor patient accounts and perform necessary follow-up actions.
7. Provide exceptional customer service.
8. Work collaboratively as part of a team.
9. Stay up-to-date on changes in billing and coding regulations.
10. Assist with training new billing staff.
