Billing Specialist

Responsibilities:

1. Accurately bill and collect patient accounts in accordance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies.
2. Utilize medical terminology and CPT/ICD-10 coding standards.
3. Provide exceptional customer service to patients and other healthcare professionals.
4. Maintain accurate and organized patient records in electronic health records systems.
5. Work independently and as part of a team to ensure efficient and effective billing processes.
6. Monitor accounts to ensure timely payment and follow up with patients as needed.
7. Assist with resolving billing inquiries and disputes.
8. Maintain knowledge of relevant healthcare regulations and policies.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.
