As the Behavioral Response Team Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our healthcare environment. We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of five years of experience in a behavioral health setting and a Bachelor's degree in a related field.   1. Oversee and manage the Behavioral Response Team, ensuring effective and efficient operations.
  2. Provide leadership and direction to team members, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
  3. Develop and implement crisis intervention protocols and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of patients and staff.
  4. Serve as the primary point of contact for all crisis situations, including conducting risk assessments and coordinating appropriate interventions.
  5. Develop and maintain relationships with external organizations and resources to enhance crisis response capabilities.
  6. Train and educate staff on crisis intervention techniques and protocols.
  7. Monitor and evaluate team performance, providing regular feedback and implementing improvements as needed.
  8. Collaborate with other departments and healthcare professionals to coordinate and facilitate crisis response efforts.
  9. Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and regulations related to crisis intervention and safety in healthcare settings.
  10. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all crisis incidents and interventions.
  11. Conduct regular analysis of data and trends to identify areas for improvement and implement strategic solutions.
  12. Serve as a role model for professionalism, compassion, and ethical behavior within the organization.
  13. Participate in on-call rotations and respond to crisis situations as needed.
  14. Work closely with Human Resources to address any employee performance or conduct issues within the team.
  15. Represent the Behavioral Response Team and BJC HealthCare at meetings, conferences, and other events related to crisis intervention and safety.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Psychology, Social Work, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Behavioral Health Or Crisis Response Setting.

  • Strong Leadership Skills And Experience Managing A Team.

  • Knowledge And Understanding Of Mental Health Diagnoses, Treatment Modalities, And Crisis Intervention Techniques.
