  1. Conduct initial screenings and assessments of patients seeking behavioral health services.
  2. Collaborate with patients and their families to develop individualized treatment plans.
  3. Provide referrals and resources for patients to access appropriate behavioral health services.
  4. Communicate and coordinate with healthcare providers and community organizations to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.
  5. Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and documentation.
  6. Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
  7. Stay up-to-date on current trends and developments in behavioral health to provide the best possible care to patients.
  8. Serve as a point of contact for patients and their families, addressing any questions or concerns.
  9. Advocate for patients and help them navigate the healthcare system.
  10. Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure a seamless patient experience.
  11. Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills.
  12. Maintain compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
  13. Act as a positive and professional representative of BJC HealthCare in all interactions with patients and their families.
  14. Uphold the mission and values of BJC HealthCare in all aspects of the job.
  15. Continuously strive to improve processes and procedures to better serve patients and the community.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Psychology, Social Work, Or A Related Field.

  • At Least 2 Years Of Experience In A Behavioral Health Setting, Preferably With Intake Or Assessment Responsibilities.

  • Knowledge Of Mental Health Diagnoses, Treatment Options, And Resources In The Southeast Region.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Engage With Clients And Collaborate With Colleagues.

  • Strong Organizational And Time Management Skills, With The Ability To Handle A High Volume Of Client Assessments And Maintain Accurate Records.
