In this role, you will work closely with the Nurse Manager to oversee the daily operations of the unit and ensure the highest level of care is provided to our patients.   1. Work closely with the Nurse Manager to oversee the daily operations of the Antepartum unit.
  2. Ensure the highest level of care is provided to patients and their families.
  3. Assist in the development and implementation of unit policies and procedures.
  4. Supervise and support nursing staff, providing guidance and mentoring as needed.
  5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.
  6. Monitor patient care metrics and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  7. Participate in budget planning and resource allocation for the unit.
  8. Maintain a safe and healthy work environment for staff and patients.
  9. Facilitate effective communication among staff, patients, and families.
  10. Serve as a role model for professional behavior and promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  11. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.
  12. Assist with recruitment, hiring, and performance evaluations of staff.
  13. Act as a liaison between the unit and other departments within the organization.
  14. Participate in ongoing professional development and stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices.
  15. Serve as a patient advocate and address any patient or family concerns in a timely and compassionate manner.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or Related Field

  • Active Rn License In The State Of Missouri

  • Knowledge Of Current Best Practices And Evidence-Based Care For Antepartum Patients.
