  1. Oversee and manage daily operations of the Acute Medicine team on day shifts.
  2. Work closely with nurses and physicians to coordinate and provide high-quality patient care.
  3. Mentor and lead a team of healthcare professionals, including nurses and support staff.
  4. Ensure adherence to hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
  6. Communicate and collaborate effectively with other departments and healthcare professionals.
  7. Participate in developing and implementing quality improvement initiatives.
  8. Monitor and manage staffing levels to ensure adequate coverage and efficient utilization of resources.
  9. Address and resolve any patient or staff concerns in a timely and compassionate manner.
  10. Stay current with industry developments and best practices in acute medicine.
  11. Train and educate new staff members on policies, procedures, and patient care standards.
  12. Assist with performance evaluations and provide feedback and guidance to team members.
  13. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
  14. Collaborate with the Nurse Manager and other members of the leadership team to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  15. Demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional patient care and promoting a positive work culture.

Job Qualifications
  • Current Rn Licensure In The State Of Missouri.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or Related Field.

  • Strong Communication And Organizational Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage A Team And Collaborate With Other Departments.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Clinical Experience In An Acute Care Setting.

  • Previous Leadership Experience, Such As Charge Nurse Or Supervisor, Preferred.
