- Oversee the daily operations of the laboratory, ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Lead and supervise a team of laboratory staff, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of laboratory supplies and equipment, making recommendations for purchases when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards, including proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
- Collaborate with other departments and healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate delivery of laboratory results.
- Develop and implement new protocols and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy in the laboratory.
- Utilize advanced knowledge and skills in laboratory testing and analysis to troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all laboratory procedures, results, and equipment maintenance.
- Participate in the hiring and training of new laboratory staff, and provide ongoing performance evaluations and feedback.
- Stay up-to-date on industry developments and advancements in laboratory technology, and make recommendations for their implementation.

Bachelor's Degree In Medical Technology Or Related Field
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In A Laboratory Setting
Ascp Certification As A Medical Technologist
Previous Leadership Experience Or Management Training
Strong Understanding Of Laboratory Regulations And Compliance Standards.
