Anesthesia Technician

- Assist anesthesia providers in preparing and maintaining equipment and supplies needed for anesthesia administration
- Set up and troubleshoot anesthesia machines, monitors, and other equipment
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and anesthesia levels during procedures
- Ensure proper functioning and cleanliness of all anesthesia equipment
- Stock and organize anesthesia supplies and medications
- Communicate effectively with anesthesia providers and other healthcare team members
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a sterile environment in the operating room
- Assist with patient positioning and transferring during procedures
- Provide support and assistance to anesthesia providers during emergency situations
- Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain and improve knowledge and skills related to anesthesia technology
- Uphold patient confidentiality and privacy at all times
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective delivery of anesthesia services
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or anesthesia providers.
Completion Of An Accredited Anesthesia Technician Program Or Equivalent Training.
Certification As A Certified Anesthesia Technician (Cer.a.t.) Or Certified Anesthesia Technologist (Cer.a.t.t.) Through The American Society Of Anesthesia Technologists And Technicians (Asatt).
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working As An Anesthesia Technician In A Healthcare Setting.
Knowledge And Understanding Of Anesthesia Equipment, Supplies, And Medications.
Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment And Handle Multiple Tasks Simultaneously While Maintaining Attention To Detail And Accuracy.
