As an Analyst, you will play a critical role in optimizing our electronic health record system to enhance patient care and increase efficiency.   1. Serve as a key member of the EHR Application team, responsible for optimizing the electronic health record system to improve patient care and increase efficiency.
  2. Analyze and evaluate current processes and workflows within the EHR system to identify areas for improvement.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and prioritize business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
  4. Develop and implement solutions to streamline processes and enhance the functionality of the EHR system.
  5. Monitor and troubleshoot system issues, providing timely and effective resolutions to minimize disruptions to patient care.
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology to ensure the EHR system remains cutting-edge and compliant with regulations.
  7. Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, updates, and changes.
  8. Train and support end-users on new system features and functionality.
  9. Communicate and collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure successful project completion.
  10. Uphold the highest standards of data security and privacy in all aspects of the EHR system.
  11. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and assist with data analysis and reporting.
  12. Act as a resource for colleagues and provide technical support as needed.
  13. Adhere to organizational policies and procedures, including those related to safety, confidentiality, and ethical standards.
  14. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and systems to enhance patient care and increase efficiency.
  15. Represent BJC HealthCare in a professional and positive manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Information Technology, Computer Science, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In Implementing And Supporting Electronic Health Record (Ehr) Systems.

  • Strong Understanding Of Healthcare Industry, Including Regulations And Compliance Requirements.

  • Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Troubleshoot And Resolve Complex Issues Related To Ehr Applications.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Provide Training And Support To End-Users.
