Job Description

Do you have a passion for creating delicious dishes and a penchant for leading a successful team? BJ's Restaurants is looking for an experienced Sr. Kitchen Manager to help lead our culinary team to success. As a Sr. Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and order fulfillment. You will also be responsible for training and developing kitchen staff, ensuring food safety standards are met, and ensuring the kitchen is well-stocked and organized.The ideal candidate for this position is a highly organized, motivated, and detail-oriented individual with a passion for food and cooking. You'll need a minimum of 5 years' experience in a managerial role, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant setting. A degree in Culinary Arts or a related field is preferred, but not necessary. You should also have exceptional communication and problem-solving skills, as well as a strong understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations. Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and order fulfillment • Train and develop kitchen staff • Ensure food safety standards are met • Ensure kitchen is well-stocked and organized • Manage inventory and order supplies as needed • Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure customer satisfaction • Address customer complaints and respond to guest inquiries • Develop and implement safety and sanitation standards • Monitor and control food and labor costs • Prepare and submit reports to management • Maintain a positive working environment for staff
