BJ's Restaurants is looking for an experienced and passionate Sr. Kitchen Manager to join our team! We are seeking an individual who can lead our kitchen staff to ensure that we are consistently providing the highest-quality food and superior guest experience. The ideal candidate for this role must have a true passion for the restaurant industry and a commitment to excellence in hospitality. The successful candidate will have at least 3-5 years of professional kitchen management experience, preferably in a high-volume, casual dining restaurant. To be considered for this position, you must possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as a demonstrated ability to effectively lead and motivate a team. Additionally, you should have a working knowledge of all the latest culinary trends and practices. Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise and coordinate all kitchen operations to ensure a positive and productive team atmosphere.
  2. Manage and motivate kitchen staff to work efficiently and effectively.
  3. Create menus that promote customer satisfaction and meet operational standards.
  4. Monitor food preparation to ensure quality and adherence to recipes.
  5. Monitor kitchen expenses and control costs to stay within budget parameters.
  6. Ensure that all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and safely operated.
  7. Oversee the scheduling of kitchen staff to ensure coverage for all shifts.
  8. Train and develop team members to enhance their culinary skills and knowledge.
  9. Monitor food safety and sanitation practices to meet all local, state, and federal regulations.
  10. Ensure that all safety and security procedures are followed.
