
Sr. Kitchen Manager
At BJ's Restaurants, we are looking for an experienced and passionate Sr. Kitchen Manager to join our team of professionals. We are looking for someone who will lead our kitchen team to create amazing dishes that will delight our guests. As our Sr. Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all back-of-house operations, ensuring that our kitchen runs efficiently and meets our standards for quality and safety.The ideal candidate for this position must have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Kitchen Manager in a high-volume restaurant setting. You must have a working knowledge of health and safety regulations, food cost control, and inventory management. We value exceptional leadership skills and the ability to develop a team of talented chefs and cooks. A strong understanding of all culinary trends and techniques is essential. Responsibilities:
- Oversee all back-of-house operations, including kitchen staff management, food preparations, and inventory management.
- Develop and train a team of talented chefs and cooks to ensure quality standards are met.
- Monitor food cost control and health and safety regulations.
- Ensure compliance with all local health department regulations.
- Monitor and maintain all kitchen equipment.
- Develop menus that incorporate current culinary trends and techniques.
- Manage all ordering, receiving, and stocking of kitchen supplies.
- Ensure the kitchen is kept clean and organized at all times.
- Create a positive, team-oriented atmosphere in the kitchen.
- Ensure all kitchen staff adhere to the restaurant’s dress code and grooming standards.
