Cost Accountant

Support manufacturing in the creation and maintenance of BOMs and routes for all products, new and existing. Review standard costs compared to actual costs. Provide analysis of manufacturing variances. Provide recommendations to improve processes and output. Support all cost accounting functions including standard costing, assessment cycles, variance analysis, SAP inputs and configuration. Serve as an SAP-CO subject matter expert within the organization. Generate and quantify cost saving opportunities and support the plant management team with the implementation of cost reduction initiatives. Prepare accurate and timely analyses that capture and communicate business results, variances, and performance trends. Make recommendations to drive improvement. Support the supply chain management team with inventory control processes such as inventory forecasts, adjustments, period end counts, cycle counts, and variance analysis. Support inventory valuation and participate in physical stocktaking for financial audit.
