Research & Development Intern
The R&D Intern will work with scientists and assist in the development of analytical methods, evaluation of new technologies, and tasks that support the Research and Development group.
- Assist with basic laboratory experiments
- Assist with general laboratory duties
- Assist with analytical laboratory methods
- Assist with HPLC mobile phase preparation and development
- Assist with sample preparation
- Assist with blood processing
- Assist with DNA extraction methods
- Assist with nucleic acid amplification methods
- Summarize and present data to the research department meetings
- May be required to lift up to 25lbs on an infrequent basis up to 20% of the time
Enrollment towards Bachelor’s degree in the Life Sciences Field in junior or senior standing
Working understanding of basic laboratory techniques
