Senior Project Engineer
We’re looking for a Senior Project Engineer who can bring their outstanding engineering expertise and technical problem-solving skills to help BioMarin Pharmaceutical develop innovative treatments for patients with serious and life-threatening rare disorders. In order to be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Biomedical Engineering), 5+ years’ experience in a medical device design and development environment, and hands-on experience with medical device design verification and validation. Additionally, you should have excellent communication and presentation skills, a collaborative approach to problem-solving, and a strong commitment to achieving project milestones on time and within budget. Responsibilities:
- Develop innovative treatments for patients with serious and life-threatening rare disorders.
- Lead design verification and validation activities for medical device development projects.
- Create comprehensive design and development plans to ensure project milestones are achieved on time and within budget.
- Maintain excellent communication with stakeholders and provide regular project updates.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide optimized solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure successful product launches.
- Ensure compliance with FDA regulations and industry standards.
- Prepare and present reports to senior management.
- Monitor new developments in the biomedical engineering field and make recommendations for improvements.
