QC Investigations Specialist

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented individual to join our Quality Control (QC) Investigations team at BioMarin Pharmaceutical. As a QC Investigations Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting investigations related to quality discrepancies found in our products. You will need to be comfortable working with various data sources and have exceptional problem-solving skills.To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related field, as well as a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Quality Control setting. You must also have strong attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a desire to learn and grow. Responsibilities:

1. Investigate quality discrepancies found in products and identify root causes.
2. Analyze data from various sources to identify trends and develop corrective actions.
3. Document investigation findings and generate reports.
4. Develop and implement procedures to ensure consistent quality and compliance standards.
5. Monitor and review production processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with quality standards.
6. Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
7. Perform regular audits to assess compliance with company policies and procedures.
8. Provide training and guidance to new employees on quality control processes.
9. Stay up to date with industry trends and regulations.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.
