Data Scientist
The successful candidate will help automate the analysis of routine experiments, develop bioinformatics algorithms, and perform statistical analysis of ddPCR and NGS datasets. Implementation and continuous improvement of bioinformatics analysis pipelines. Assist in data analysis and algorithm development for all stages of products in development. Provide input for algorithm development strategy to enable laboratory-developed tests as well as regulated products. Partner closely with other Bioinformatics and Software teams in the Digital Biology and Clinical Diagnostics Groups at Bio-Rad. Deliver high impact presentations communicating bioinformatics strategy and progress to internal and external audiences.
3+ years of relevant experience
Experience in genetic analysis (NIPT or cell-free DNA applications) is a plus
Knowledge and experience of common bioinformatics databases, resources and tools.
Experience with Shiny App development is a plus
Experience with HPC and AWS is a plus
