
Program Officer (PO), Geospatial Insights
Collaborate with directors and deputy directors and colleagues across Strategy & Planning and Insights teams to understand core program decisions and strategic choices and translate those into quarriable analyses. Design and manage multiple complex qualitative and quantitative research projects, including selecting the right vendors, methodologies, and techniques, interpreting data and developing recommendations to advance the research road map. Provide consultation to colleagues and collaborators to delve deeper into findings and hone strategic questions. Cultivate and engage a network of partners to support health impact, consumer/client and/or health system research projects in emerging markets. Build mechanisms and partnerships to aggregate existing grant, partner, and globally available data to improve utility. Draw on learning generated from Global Delivery grants and programs to extract data, findings, and knowledge.
10+ years of experience in geospatial data or similar data types or equivalent combination.
Experience with GRID3, ArcGIS, QGIS, and other comparable software
Fluency in data licensing, purchasing, and sharing agreements
Understanding of strategies for automating the process of data collection in a variety of settings and sites.
