Job Description

Are you passionate about using research to understand user needs and drive product development? Do you have a strong understanding of UX principles and methodologies? BetterUp is looking for a Senior UX Researcher to join our growing team and help us create impactful and user-centered experiences. As a Senior UX Researcher, you will have the opportunity to lead and execute research initiatives, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and use data-driven insights to inform product decisions.   1. Conduct user research to understand user needs, preferences, and behaviors.
  2. Develop and execute a research strategy to inform product development.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and engineers, to ensure a user-centered approach to product development.
  4. Utilize various research methodologies, such as surveys, interviews, and usability testing, to gather insights.
  5. Analyze and synthesize research findings to create actionable recommendations for product improvements.
  6. Present research findings and recommendations to stakeholders and senior leadership.
  7. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in UX research.
  8. Mentor and guide junior researchers in research methods and best practices.
  9. Develop and maintain relationships with external research partners and vendors.
  10. Advocate for the user and ensure their needs are considered in all product decisions.
  11. Proactively identify opportunities for research and make recommendations for future projects.
  12. Collaborate with the data team to integrate quantitative data into research findings.
  13. Work with product teams to prioritize and implement research findings.
  14. Use data-driven insights to inform product decisions and drive product improvements.
  15. Champion a culture of user-centric design and research-driven decision-making within the organization.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience In Ux Research: A Senior Ux Researcher At Betterup Should Have At Least 5-7 Years Of Experience In Conducting User Research, With A Strong Understanding Of Various Research Methods And Techniques.

  • Strategic Thinking: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess Strong Analytical Skills And Be Able To Think Strategically, Using Data And Insights To Inform And Guide Product And Design Decisions.

  • Knowledge Of User-Centered Design: The Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of User-Centered Design Principles And Be Able To Apply Them Effectively In Their Research And Design Processes.

  • Leadership And Collaboration: A Senior Ux Researcher Should Have Excellent Leadership Skills And Be Able To Collaborate Effectively With Cross-Functional Teams, Including Designers, Product Managers, And Engineers.

  • Excellent Communication And Presentation Skills: The Candidate Should Be Able To Communicate Research Findings And Recommendations Effectively To Stakeholders At All Levels, Including Executives, And Be Able To Present Complex Information In A Clear And Concise Manner.
