- Conduct user research: Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points.
- Analyze data: Analyze research findings and data to identify key insights and opportunities for product improvement.
- Translate insights: Translate research insights into clear and actionable recommendations for product design and development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with designers, product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure research insights are incorporated into product decisions.
- Plan and execute research studies: Plan and conduct user research studies, including usability testing, surveys, interviews, and focus groups.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends: Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging research methods to continuously improve the user research process.
- Advocate for the user: Act as a user advocate within the company, ensuring that user needs and perspectives are considered in all product decisions.
- Communicate research findings: Present research findings and insights to cross-functional teams and stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
- Manage research projects: Manage multiple research projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of research insights.
- Mentor junior researchers: Mentor and guide junior researchers to develop their skills and expertise in user research.
- Drive innovation: Continuously explore new research methods and tools to improve the effectiveness and impact of user research at BetterUp.
- Uphold company values: Embody and promote company values of curiosity, empathy, and a desire to create positive change in all aspects of the role.
Extensive Experience In Ux Research: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 5-7 Years Of Experience Conducting User Research In A Ux Design Environment.
Strong Analytical Skills: A Senior Ux Researcher At Betterup Should Have Advanced Skills In Data Analysis And The Ability To Translate Research Findings Into Actionable Insights.
Strong Understanding Of Design Thinking: The Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Design Thinking Principles And Methodologies, And Should Be Able To Apply Them In Their Research Process.
Proven Track Record Of Delivering User-Centered Solutions: The Candidate Should Have A Portfolio Demonstrating Their Ability To Use Research Insights To Inform And Guide The Design Of User-Centered Solutions.
