
Senior Governance, Risk and Compliance Analyst

- Develop and implement risk management and compliance strategies to ensure the company's adherence to ethical business practices and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct thorough analysis of existing policies and procedures to identify potential areas of risk and make recommendations for improvement.
- Monitor and track changes in regulations and industry standards to ensure the company's compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement compliance training programs for employees.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify any potential compliance gaps and work with relevant stakeholders to address them.
- Serve as the point of contact for any compliance-related inquiries or concerns from internal teams, clients, or regulatory bodies.
- Prepare and present reports to senior leadership on the company's compliance status and any potential risks.
- Work with external auditors and regulators during compliance audits and investigations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with relevant industry associations and regulatory bodies.
- Continuously evaluate and improve internal processes and procedures to enhance the company's compliance program.
- Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in governance, risk, and compliance to proactively address any potential risks.
- Mentor and train junior team members on compliance best practices and procedures.
- Act as a role model for ethical behavior and promote a strong compliance culture throughout the organization.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and provide guidance and recommendations to senior leadership on complex compliance matters.
- Handle any other duties or responsibilities related to governance, risk, and compliance as assigned by the company.
Extensive Knowledge Of Governance, Risk, And Compliance (Grc) Frameworks: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of Various Grc Frameworks, Such As Coso, Iso 27001, And Nist, And Be Able To Apply Them Effectively In A Fast-Paced Environment.
Proven Experience In Risk Management: The Senior Grc Analyst Should Have A Track Record Of Successfully Identifying, Assessing, And Mitigating Risks In A Corporate Setting. This Includes Developing Risk Management Strategies, Conducting Risk Assessments, And Implementing Controls To Reduce Risk Exposure.
Strong Understanding Of Compliance Requirements: A Senior Grc Analyst Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Compliance Regulations And Standards, Including Gdpr, Hipaa, And Sox. They Should Also Be Familiar With Industry-Specific Compliance Requirements To Ensure Betterup's Compliance With Relevant Laws And Regulations.
Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: This Role Requires Working Closely With Different Teams, Including Legal, It, And Business Stakeholders. Thus, The Ideal Candidate Should Possess Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills To Effectively Communicate Complex Grc Concepts To Non-Technical Stakeholders And Build Relationships With Cross-Functional Teams.
Analytical And Strategic Thinking: A Senior Grc Analyst Should Possess Strong Analytical And Critical Thinking Skills To Identify And Assess Risks, Develop Effective Solutions, And Make Strategic Decisions That Align With Betterup's Goals And Objectives.
