Meet with clients to understand their individual mortgage needs and goals.
Conduct thorough financial assessments to determine clients' eligibility for various loan options.
Utilize in-depth knowledge of loan products and regulations to educate clients on their options and help them make informed decisions.
Provide excellent customer service throughout the loan process, promptly responding to client inquiries and concerns.
Collaborate with loan processors, underwriters, and other team members to ensure timely and accurate processing of loans.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes in regulations to accurately advise clients and maintain compliance.
Network and build relationships with real estate agents, financial advisors, and other professionals to generate leads and referrals.
Meet and exceed sales targets by actively promoting Better Mortgage and its services.
Maintain accurate and organized records of client interactions and loan progress.
Continuously strive to improve processes and procedures to enhance the client experience and increase efficiency.
Represent Better Mortgage in a professional and positive manner at all times.
Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance job knowledge and skills.
Collaborate with marketing and advertising teams to promote Better Mortgage and its services.
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all interactions with clients and colleagues.
Contribute to a positive and supportive team culture.

Job Qualifications

Strong Knowledge Of Lending Laws And Regulations: A Loan Consultant At Better Mortgage In Michigan Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of State And Federal Lending Laws And Regulations. This Knowledge Is Crucial In Ensuring That All Loans Are Compliant And That Clients Are Provided With Accurate And Reliable Information.
Excellent Communication Skills: As A Loan Consultant, Effective Communication Is Key In Building Relationships With Clients, Real Estate Agents, And Other Parties Involved In The Loan Process.
