Additionally, you should have experience with tax software and filing returns, as well as knowledge of applicable laws and regulations. Experience in a retail setting is preferred.

2. Research and interpret tax regulations and legislation.
3. Evaluate the financial impact of potential tax strategies.
4. Identify and assess potential tax savings opportunities.
5. Develop and implement tax planning strategies.
6. Prepare and monitor tax forecasts.
7. Monitor and respond to tax inquiries and audits.
8. Provide support to other departments on tax-related matters.
9. Liaise with external tax advisers and auditors.
10. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
