- Receive and unload merchandise shipments from trucks, verifying accuracy of inventory and properly storing items in designated areas.
- Keep track of inventory levels and communicate with team members to ensure timely restocking of products on the sales floor.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, ensuring safety and efficiency in all tasks.
- Assist in the assembly and set up of displays and products on the sales floor.
- Collaborate with sales associates to fulfill customer orders and ensure availability of products.
- Operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move merchandise to and from the warehouse.
- Monitor and report any damaged or defective products to management.
- Assist in periodic inventory counts to ensure accuracy of stock levels.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with loading and carrying their purchases to their vehicles.
- Keep up to date with new products and technology to better assist customers and provide product knowledge.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies at all times.
- Continuously strive to improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and productivity in the warehouse.
- Assist in training and mentoring new warehouse associates.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing the company and its values.
