Job Description

Are you a tech-savvy individual who is passionate about helping others solve their technology-related problems? We are looking for an experienced Geek Squad Agent to join our team at our retail store in Best Buy. The ideal candidate is someone who is comfortable with consumer electronics, is highly organized, and loves to engage with customers. You should have an eye for detail, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and an ability to work in a fast-paced environment.To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of two years experience in a customer service role, preferably with a focus on technology. You should also have a high school diploma or equivalent, and basic knowledge of computer hardware and software. The ability to work flexible hours is essential. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide exceptional customer service to customers in the store, over the phone, and online.
  2. Assist customers with technology-related issues, such as setting up new electronics, troubleshooting hardware and software, and providing technical support.
  3. Diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly and accurately.
  4. Organize and maintain customer records and service plans.
  5. Stay up to date on the latest trends and technology products.
  6. Ensure customer satisfaction by providing knowledgeable and timely responses to inquiries.
  7. Work closely with other Geek Squad Agents and store personnel to create a positive customer experience.
  8. Meet or exceed sales goals by upselling additional products and services.
  9. Perform quality assurance on all repairs and setups.
  10. Follow all safety and security protocols.
