Job Description

At Best Buy, we are looking for a Geek Squad Advanced Repair Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate for this role should be passionate about providing outstanding customer service and technical support. They should have a friendly and helpful attitude, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to go the extra mile to ensure customers are satisfied with their service.The Geek Squad Advanced Repair Agent's primary responsibility is to provide technical support and repair services to Best Buy customers. They will be tasked with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, as well as providing advice and guidance to customers regarding their products.The successful candidate should have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a technical support role, and be able to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of computers and consumer electronics. They should have an understanding of customer service principles and practices, as well as a proven track record of resolving customer issues in a timely and efficient manner. A college degree in computer science or a related field is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities of a Geek Squad Advanced Repair Agent:

  1. Provide technical support and repair services to Best Buy customers
  2. Troubleshoot and resolve customer technical issues
  3. Provide advice and guidance to customers regarding their products
  4. Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of computers and consumer electronics
  5. Utilize customer service principles and practices to meet customer needs
  6. Resolve customer issues in a timely and efficient manner
  7. Maintain accurate records of customer service interactions
  8. Adhere to Best Buy policies and procedures
  9. Upsell products and services to customers as appropriate
  10. Remain current on new technologies and products
