Asset Protection Officer

The Asset Protection Officer (APO) is an essential part of the Best Buy team, responsible for protecting the store's assets and maintaining a safe and secure shopping environment for our customers. 1. Lead and manage the asset protection team, ensuring team members are meeting security objectives.
2. Monitor store operations for any suspicious activity or theft.
3. Enforce store policies and procedures to ensure the safety and security of customers and staff.
4. Investigate any incidents of theft or suspicious activity and take appropriate action.
5. Prepare incident reports and other documents related to asset protection activities.
6. Monitor CCTV systems and respond to alarms.
7. Provide excellent customer service and advice to customers regarding asset protection procedures.
8. Train team members on store policies and procedures related to asset protection.
9. Maintain accurate records of asset protection activities.
10. Develop and implement strategies to reduce losses and minimize risks.
