Asset Protection Officer

As an Asset Protection Officer at Best Buy, you’ll be responsible for safeguarding the assets of the store, while providing outstanding customer service. You will be a key member of the store team in maintaining a safe and secure environment. We are looking for a motivated individual who takes initiative and demonstrates excellent customer service skills.To be successful in this role, you must have at least one year of retail or security experience and be able to use MS Office. You should have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, be highly organized, and be able to work independently and in a team environment. Responsibilities:

1. Monitor and protect the assets of the store, including cash, merchandise, and customer property.
2. Greet customers, assess their needs, and provide exceptional customer service.
3. Investigate any suspicious activities or situations, and take action as necessary.
4. Report any safety or security concerns to the store manager.
5. Maintain a clean and organized store environment.
6. Respond to customer inquiries and complaints.
7. Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.
8. Use Microsoft Office programs, such as Excel and Word, to monitor and track store assets.
9. Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.
10. Work independently or in a team environment as needed.
