Asset Protection Officer

Responsibilities:

1. Monitor customers, employees, and property for any suspicious or criminal activity.
2. Ensure that security protocols are followed and that theft prevention measures are in place.
3. Respond to customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner.
4. Investigate shoplifting or other criminal activity and assist in apprehending suspects.
5. Maintain records of daily surveillance activities and file reports as needed.
6. Operate and maintain CCTV and access control systems.
7. Train, supervise, and evaluate the performance of other security personnel.
8. Report incidents to management and provide recommendations for improvement.
9. Develop and implement asset protection policies and procedures.
10. Perform regular security checks and inspections of the premises.
11. Provide excellent customer service and maintain a friendly and courteous attitude.
12. Ensure compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations.
13. Provide support in emergency situations and assist in evacuations.
14. Remain alert and attentive at all times.
