Responsibilities: -Enforce company and government security policies and procedures to maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees -Conduct security checks and inspections of the premises to identify any areas of risk or potential theft -Monitor and patrol the premises to detect suspicious activities and prevent theft or other criminal activity -Respond to alarm systems and investigate any reported incidents of theft or vandalism -Provide customer service to customers and employees -Secure merchandise and money while following all procedure guidelines -Write detailed reports of security activities to document incidents -Conduct investigations into theft and security related incidents -Provide training to new security staff on policies and procedures -Maintain communication with supervisors and other law enforcement officials when necessary -Utilize surveillance systems and other security equipment to monitor the premises
