As a Delivery Helper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers receive their new appliances in a timely and efficient manner. This is a physically demanding position that requires lifting and moving heavy appliances, so we are looking for someone who is physically fit and able to handle the demands of the job. 1. Assist in the delivery and installation of appliances to customers' homes.
2. Load and unload appliances from delivery trucks and transport them to customers' homes.
3. Assemble and set up appliances according to manufacturer instructions and customer preferences.
4. Provide excellent customer service by being friendly, professional, and knowledgeable about the products and services offered.
5. Ensure all appliances are delivered and installed in a timely and efficient manner.
6. Communicate with customers about delivery times and any delays or issues that may arise.
7. Inspect appliances for any damage or defects before delivery and report any issues to the appropriate department.
8. Maintain a clean and organized delivery truck, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are stocked and ready for use.
9. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to avoid injury or damage to appliances and property.
10. Assist in training and mentoring new delivery helpers as needed.
11. Collaborate with team members to ensure all deliveries are completed on schedule and meet customer expectations.
12. Continuously strive to improve delivery processes and provide feedback to management on ways to enhance the customer experience.
13. Represent Best Buy in a professional and positive manner at all times.
14. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
