As a Senior Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting and facilitating the daily operations of our academic programs and initiatives.   1. Provide administrative support to the Academic Affairs department, including managing schedules, coordinating meetings and events, and handling correspondence.
  2. Maintain accurate and organized records of departmental activities, including student enrollment data, course schedules, and faculty information.
  3. Serve as a main point of contact for students, faculty, and staff regarding academic inquiries and requests.
  4. Assist in the preparation and distribution of academic materials, such as course catalogs, syllabi, and academic policies.
  5. Collaborate with other administrative assistants and department heads to ensure efficient and effective communication and coordination.
  6. Manage department budget and expenses, including tracking expenditures and processing invoices.
  7. Assist in the recruitment and hiring process for academic faculty and staff.
  8. Coordinate and support various academic programs and initiatives, such as internships, study abroad programs, and academic conferences.
  9. Stay updated on relevant academic policies and regulations and ensure compliance within the department.
  10. Contribute to the overall positive image and reputation of Benedict College by providing excellent customer service and representing the institution professionally.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In An Administrative Assistant Role, Preferably In An Academic Setting.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Related Field Such As Business Administration, Education, Or Communications.

  • Excellent Organizational And Time-Management Skills, With The Ability To Handle Multiple Tasks And Prioritize Effectively.

  • Strong Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, With The Ability To Interact Professionally With Faculty, Staff, And Students.
