  1. Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in accordance with state and federal laws and regulations.
  2. Oversee the recruitment and selection process for all positions within the organization.
  3. Serve as the main point of contact for all employee inquiries, providing guidance and support on HR-related matters.
  4. Conduct new employee orientations and ensure all necessary employment paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including but not limited to personnel files, benefits enrollment, and performance evaluations.
  6. Coordinate and conduct training and development programs for employees to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  7. Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management.
  8. Administer and track employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave.
  9. Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations, including but not limited to EEO, ADA, and FLSA.
  10. Collaborate with department managers to address staffing needs and develop strategies for employee retention.
  11. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  12. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in HR to continually improve processes and procedures.
  13. Provide support and guidance to managers and supervisors on HR-related matters.
  14. Handle any other HR-related duties and special projects as assigned by the HR Director or other senior leadership.
  15. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that aligns with the mission and values of Benedict College.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Business Administration, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Hr Management, Preferably In A Higher Education Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Employment Laws And Regulations, Including Ada, Fmla, And Eeoc Compliance.

  • Proven Experience In Talent Acquisition, Onboarding, Performance Management, And Employee Relations.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build Relationships With Diverse Stakeholders And Handle Sensitive And Confidential Information With Discretion.
