  1. Develop and teach engaging and relevant curriculum in the field of finance to undergraduate students.
  2. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for students of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
  3. Foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills in students through various teaching methods.
  4. Stay up-to-date with current trends and advancements in the field of finance to provide students with relevant and practical knowledge.
  5. Conduct research and publish scholarly articles in the field of finance to contribute to the academic community.
  6. Mentor and advise students on academic and career-related matters.
  7. Collaborate with other faculty members to develop and improve the finance program.
  8. Participate in departmental and university-level meetings and committees.
  9. Provide timely feedback and evaluation to students to support their academic growth.
  10. Maintain regular office hours to assist students with academic inquiries and concerns.
  11. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge in the field of finance.
  12. Serve as a role model and uphold ethical standards in the classroom and in interactions with students.
  13. Represent Benedict College at conferences, events, and other public engagements related to finance.
  14. Adhere to all college policies and procedures related to teaching and student engagement.
  15. Collaborate with industry professionals and organizations to create internship and career opportunities for students.

Job Qualifications
  • A Minimum Of A Master's Degree In Finance Or A Related Field, With Preference For Candidates With A Phd.

  • At Least 3 Years Of Teaching Experience At The College Or University Level, With A Strong Record Of Student Engagement And Success.

  • Demonstrated Expertise In Finance Topics Such As Financial Analysis, Investment Management, And Financial Planning.

  • Proven Research And Publication Record In Reputable Finance Journals, Showcasing A Commitment To Scholarship And Contribution To The Field.

  • Experience In Developing And Implementing Innovative And Interactive Teaching Methods, Including The Use Of Technology And Real-World Case Studies, To Enhance Student Learning.
