Welcome to Benedict College! We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Assessment Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the assessment and evaluation processes of our academic programs and ensuring compliance with accreditation standards.   1. Develop and implement assessment plans and processes for all academic programs at Benedict College, in line with accreditation standards.
  2. Collaborate with faculty and staff to collect and analyze data related to student learning outcomes, program effectiveness, and student success.
  3. Review and interpret assessment data to identify areas of improvement and make recommendations for program enhancements.
  4. Create reports and presentations to communicate assessment results to various stakeholders, including senior leadership, academic departments, and accreditation bodies.
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessment data, reports, and documentation for accreditation purposes.
  6. Facilitate assessment training and workshops for faculty and staff to ensure understanding and compliance with assessment processes.
  7. Stay current on best practices and trends in assessment and higher education to continuously improve the assessment program at Benedict College.
  8. Collaborate with external partners, such as accreditation agencies, to ensure compliance with assessment standards and requirements.
  9. Act as a liaison between academic departments and accreditation bodies, addressing any concerns or issues related to assessment.
  10. Promote a culture of continuous improvement and data-informed decision making within the institution.
  11. Manage and maintain assessment software and tools, ensuring their effectiveness and efficiency in data collection and analysis.
  12. Participate in departmental and institutional meetings to provide updates on assessment processes and outcomes.
  13. Provide support and guidance to faculty and staff in developing and revising learning outcomes and assessment plans for new programs and courses.
  14. Work closely with the Institutional Research team to ensure alignment and consistency in data collection and reporting.
  15. Other duties as assigned by the supervisor or senior leadership.

Job Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's Degree In Education Or A Related Field, With A Focus On Assessment And Evaluation.

  • Prior Experience In Coordinating Assessments, Preferably In A Higher Education Setting.

  • Strong Analytical Skills And Proficiency In Data Analysis Software Such As Spss Or Excel.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Faculty, Staff, And Students.

  • Knowledge Of Best Practices In Assessment And Accreditation Standards, Such As Those Set By The Southern Association Of Colleges And Schools Commission On Colleges (Sacscoc).
