We are seeking a highly motivated and personable individual to join our team as an Admissions Recruiter and Counselor at Benedict College. In this role, you will play a crucial role in recruiting and counseling prospective students, ensuring that they have a seamless and positive experience throughout the admissions process.   1. Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract a diverse pool of prospective students.
  2. Conduct outreach activities and attend events to promote Benedict College and its programs to potential students.
  3. Respond to inquiries from prospective students and provide them with accurate and detailed information about the admissions process, program requirements, and financial aid opportunities.
  4. Build and maintain relationships with high schools, community colleges, and other organizations to identify and engage potential applicants.
  5. Conduct interviews with prospective students to assess their interests, goals, and qualifications for admission.
  6. Evaluate application materials, including transcripts, test scores, and letters of recommendation, to determine eligibility for admission.
  7. Collaborate with academic departments and other campus offices to ensure a smooth and efficient admissions process for prospective students.
  8. Serve as a primary point of contact for admitted students, providing guidance and support as they navigate the enrollment process.
  9. Participate in admissions events and assist with campus tours to showcase the college and its programs to prospective students and their families.
  10. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all recruitment and admission activities.
  11. Stay informed about current trends in higher education and use this knowledge to continuously improve recruitment and counseling strategies.
  12. Adhere to all college policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations, related to admissions and student confidentiality.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Education, Counseling, Or Marketing.

  • Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Admissions Or Recruitment, Preferably In A Higher Education Setting.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills With The Ability To Effectively Engage With Diverse Populations.

  • Knowledge Of College Admissions Processes, Including Recruiting Strategies, Application Review, And Enrollment Management.

  • Familiarity With Admissions Software And Crm Systems, As Well As Proficiency In Microsoft Office.
