Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager, IT Security Architect & Engineering to join our team at Belk.   1. Develop and implement IT security architecture and engineering strategies to ensure the protection of customer information and the security of company systems.
  2. Lead a team of IT security professionals in designing and implementing security solutions that meet industry standards and comply with company policies and regulations.
  3. Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies to proactively identify potential security risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security controls into new and existing systems, applications, and processes.
  5. Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation measures.
  6. Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  7. Manage security incidents and breaches, including investigation, containment, and resolution.
  8. Monitor and analyze security metrics to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  9. Communicate security risks and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  10. Mentor and coach team members to enhance their technical skills and promote a culture of continuous learning and development.
  11. Collaborate with external partners, vendors, and consultants to obtain necessary resources and expertise for IT security initiatives.
  12. Participate in the development and maintenance of the IT security budget and ensure cost-effective delivery of security services.
  13. Act as a subject matter expert on IT security matters and represent the company in external forums and events.
  14. Ensure compliance with industry standards, such as ISO 27001, NIST, and PCI DSS.
  15. Conduct regular training and awareness programs to educate employees on security best practices and promote a security-conscious culture.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In It Security Architecture And Engineering.

  • Strong Knowledge And Experience With Industry-Standard Security Tools And Technologies.

  • Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Manage And Mentor A Team.

  • In-Depth Understanding Of Regulatory Compliance Requirements And Experience Implementing Security Controls To Meet These Standards.
