- Develop and implement strategic coaching and development programs for the sales team to increase their effectiveness and drive sales growth.
- Create and maintain a positive and inclusive team culture that fosters growth, learning, and collaboration.
- Serve as a mentor and coach to sales team members, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their professional goals.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members to improve their skills and performance.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the sales coaching and development programs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as marketing and product development, to ensure alignment and consistency in sales strategies.
- Develop and maintain training materials and resources to support the sales team's development.
- Monitor and analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to drive sales growth.
- Lead and participate in sales meetings and training sessions to share best practices and provide updates on performance and goals.
- Collaborate with HR to recruit, hire, and train new sales team members.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry influencers.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the sales coaching and development program to ensure it meets the changing needs of the sales team and the business.
Extensive Experience In Sales: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 10 Years Of Experience In Sales, Preferably In The Paint Or Home Improvement Industry. This Experience Should Include A Proven Track Record Of Achieving Sales Targets, Managing Sales Teams, And Developing Successful Sales Strategies.
Strong Leadership Skills: As The Vice President, Sales Coaching & Development, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Leading And Managing A Team Of Sales Coaches And Trainers. Therefore, Strong Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Motivate And Inspire Others, Are Essential For This Role.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Candidate Should Possess Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams, Communicate With Senior Leadership, And Coach And Develop The Sales Team.
Strategic Thinking And Analytical Skills: The Candidate Should Have A Strategic Mindset And The Ability To Think Analytically To Identify Business Opportunities, Develop Sales Plans, And Drive Revenue Growth. Strong Analytical Skills Are Also Essential For Evaluating The Effectiveness Of Sales Training Programs And Making Data-Driven Decisions.
