Safety and Compliance Analyst

Assist in the product safety & compliance activities related to specific departments and/or product categories as assigned. Participate in discussions with Category Managers and Product Development to understand the product line, priorities, vendors and programs with intended timelines. Track status of testing at lab, including monitoring submissions that have been put on hold Analyze testing and inspection reports, as well as requests for partial testing, group testing, and test waivers - review, evaluate and determine action, escalating to Specialist as needed. Communicate with vendors and lab on failed report dispositions, requirements and other report issues. Review corrective action for “fail” testing and inspection results, escalating to Specialist as needed. Review basic packaging and labeling requirements with packaging team upon request. Assist with data entry and maintain vendor files to keep critical documentation as needed. Coordinate special test requests from Category Managers or PD team.
