Assortment Analyst
As an Assortment Planner, you will be responsible for building assortment plans that generate sales, profit and inventory turnover for each of the assigned product categories. Perform analysis of SKU and product performance to assist the Category Managers with the development of the assortment across all networks/clusters. Partners with the Category Management teams to evaluate assortment productivity and make recommendations for drops and adds Develop item and SKU level assortment plans that optimize our financial objectives and deliver against primary category strategic objectives. Align item plans to category strategies, merchandise financial plans, assessing trade-offs from inclusion of new items and/or removing existing item eligibility. Determine minimum presentation working with Visual to balance what fits with SKU productivity. Analyze, review and identify assortment planning opportunities through routine weekly analysis and reporting.
3-5 years work experience in retail planning, buying or merchandising required
Solution oriented with the ability to turn insights into actions
Proactively identifies, prioritizes and recommends solutions to key business issues
Drives positive business results through demonstrated knowledge of retail and focus on the customer
Bachelors' degree in retail, marketing or finance preferred
